As of August 15, 2022, we closed applications to the general public except for small windows of time each year.  Having controlled times for enrollment allows us to focus on strengthening our community.

If you miss the time window for open-enrollment, ladies may apply from May to October through a friend that is already a member, and who is willing to refer them. The member will initiate the referral process. Please peruse our website to ensure you understand the goals of Mamalitia,  and then reach out to that member for further information on a direct referral.   

After October, applications of all types are closed through the Winter where our ladies are focused on training, enjoying time with their families through the holidays, and hopefully, resting a bit.  If you have missed the window, keep an eye on our website for an update on the next opportunity.  

When you apply, to start the process you need to fill out two forms (links below). Applicants will sign a Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA) before her forms are sent to our background team for a background check. A background check is performed as members are part of our family and safety is our number one concern. Once your background has been reviewed you will be contacted by a member of the team to schedule an interview. Once the interview is complete, you will receive an email regarding your status.

Please follow the steps below to apply during open enrollment. NOTE: If any steps are not completed, your application is not considered complete and will not be processed. 

Step 1: Information Questionnaire* - (Check back when open enrollment is again)

At the end of the Information Questionnaire, you will be prompted to complete your payment for a background check and PMA membership. By making this payment, you are agreeing to Mamalitia conducting a background information search through a private search and/or a third-party vendor.

Step 2: Contact Information Form* - (Check back when open enrollment is again)

Step 3: Sign Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA)*. Watch your email (and spam folder) for a link to sign the NDA. These will usually come within a week of applying.  Applicants will sign a Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA) before her forms are sent to our background team for a background check. 

Step 4: Background Check - Please be on the lookout for friend and/or follow requests by Mamalitia’s social media accounts. If they are not accepted, your application will be removed from the queue. Additionally, when contacted by Mamalitia please respond promptly to keep your application moving forward. If you do not clear this process, you will receive an email to inform you. 

Step 5: An Interview. This is contingent on the first three steps being completed. If any of the above are missing, you will not be extended an interview. If you do not clear the background check, you will not be extended an interview. If you are contacted via email to meet with a community member, please respond promptly.  Our leadership is heavily impacted with open enrollment while juggling their careers, families and other activities. For protection of the time they volunteer, we expect all interviews completed by March. We understand applicants have the same life balance so if you cannot make a time frame offered for an interview, please offer at least three options for them to try and match. The best effort will be made to do so. Those that do not reply in a timely manner for an interview will be removed from the queue and will need to reapply next year. Whether you are cleared for membership or not, you will receive an email on your status.

Step 6: Membership Documents* - Once you clear the application process, you'll receive final documents to review and sign before you will be connected with your local community. Once again, keep an eye on your email, including your spam folder. 

 
*Please note, given we are a Membership based organization, we store our forms in a Google Drive. All information will be stored indefinitely.
